Limasol Bank and Insurance support EFRAR 2014

Limasol Insurance have donated TL2,000 to the Esentepe Fun, Run and Ramble 2014 in aid of Tulips (Help Those With Cancer) but are not stopping there.
At a meeting with the General Director of the Insurance division, Mr Birtan Asker and Meryam Gündüz ,Legal Counsel, it was confirmed that a great number of employees from Limasol Turkish Cooperative Bank and Limasol Insurance would be taking part in the 5km event and will be represented by approximately 100 runners and walkers with some employees bringing their children to take part in the 2km event. Each competitor will then be sponsored a further TL20 by their respective divisions which could increase the initial donation by an additional TL2,000.
Mr Asker said: “'First of all, I would like to congratulate every single person who supports, organises or takes part in the Esentepe Fun Run and Ramble and raises awareness about cancer. Increasing number of cancer cases is unfortunately the biggest problem in our country. It is important to be sensitive and support charities by making donations”.
He continued: I would like to express our sensitivity to this matter and our faith in social responsibility. In order to raise awareness, directors and staff of Limasol Turkish Cooperative Bank and Limasol Insurance will be attending the Esentepe Fun, Run and Ramble on 6th April with our families. I would like to encourage everybody to give their support, make donations and join us on 6th April”.
Art Watson, Chairman of the Esentepe Fun, Run and Ramble 2014 committee commented: “We are very happy to be working with such a professional organisation as Limasol Turkish Cooperative Bank and Limasol Insurance and are delighted by the their generosity and level of commitment to this event and we look forward to welcoming their employees and families on Sunday, 6th April in support of a deserving cause”.
