“And Chiefly Yourselves”
Live entertainment, Live music, yes the Girne Edwardian Musical society is putting on another Music Hall extravaganza. Following the success of last January’s production, many of the audience asked for this to become an annual event. And so we are pleased to oblige. Once again you are assured of an evening of melodic and mellifluous merriment. Memorable songs like Down at the Old Bull and Bush, I’ll be Your Sweetheart, Mother Kelly’s Doorstep and many, many more.
As last time, the evening will commence with dinner at the Tervetuloa Hotel and Restaurant, Alsancak (near the Golden Lady Statue) followed by the Music hall songs sung by members of the GEMS, but, of course, CHIEFLY YOURSELVES. Song sheets will be provided.
The show will be performed on Friday, Saturday and Sunday 16th, 17th and 18th January 2015. The price is 50tl which includes meze, a choice from 6 main courses and fruit. This will be followed by the Music Hall with Francine Ash on keyboard and Mike Redman on banjo.
This is a Charity event and proceeds will go to the Kibris Turk Diabetes Association.
We would like to thank the creditwest bank for kindly agreeing to be our sponsor our evenings.
To book please phone Grahame Ash on 0533 843 3554 or Lyn on 0533 847 8303
Payment, incidentally, can be left until after Christmas.
