Concert was great, Legend excelled themselves, well done Children in Need, a shame there was not a bit more support, however all who attended (or most) danced the night away!

Perhaps a good local band in support of the main act would appeal to others and widen audience appeal ! just my humble opinion ! regards barry

just read in Cyprus today that there were just over 600 people there, the organisers were saying they where disappointed with the turnout. this should have been advertised weeks before the event , not a few posters put up and a post on here.very little advertising.

Does anyone know when the next children in need fundraising concert is taking place ? Who do you contact for tickets for these events ?

September 16th RosieA,the Drifters,
I would have said a few more then 600, but yes maybe a bit more publicity would have helped, not sure about a local band though, these can be accessed anytime at no charge, I would say more misfortune then anything else, but let us hope this does not deter the organisers from the next one, I certainly had a great night!!

I'm not sure what the total capacity is, but it was only about half full, which was a real shame.
There were plenty of folks there having the time of their lives, it's just a pity that it wasn't advertised a bit more aggressively.
Personally, I would have liked 2 x 1 hour sets, with a supporting act in between, but that's just me...

Keith capacity is 3000 to be comfortable although the authorities advise 4000 think that would be a bit of a squeeze!

Yes, I think that you'd probably end up sat on someone's knee
