Over 90 people packed the Corner House in Ozankoy on Saturday, 6th August and a total of TL650 was donated to EFRAR in support of the Help Those With Cancer Association (Tulips).
With their special home-made burgers and good music, Sandra and Eddie Brennan created a real party atmosphere and all the food money was donated and the staff very generously donated their tips for the night.
Mr and Mrs Brennan showcased a new band to the area- the NormAls - a cosmopolitan 4 piece band who played a mixture of jazz, funk and soul from the 1970's to the present day.
Mrs Brennan said: “Both my mother and grandmother died of cancer so it is a cause that is very close to my heart. In fact, we have now decided to make Tulips our charity for the year and we are looking to hold other events which will give us the opportunity to donate money to the Association”.
Mary Watson, Chair of EFRAR commented: “I am delighted with the donation received on behalf of Tulips and I am very grateful for the support given to EFRAR by the Corner House.
