Barnabas - The Musical comes to Kyrenia this week!

Friday November 11th at The Colony hotel's roof top theater sees the start of the Cyprus musical tour of Barnabas.

Composed by Roger Jones of Christian Musical Ministries, it tells the story of Barnabas & Saul through music and songs. The soloists & Roger arrive on the island this week from the UK for the start of a 10 day tour with six productions in Cyprus. Kyrenia, Famagusta, Larnaca, Paphos, Limersol and Nicosia.

The debut production will be in Kyrenia. Doors open at 6.15pm at The Colony for the show to start at 7pm. This will be followed with a light finger buffet where members of the cast will mingle with theater goers. Tickets are 40TL. plus there will be a retiring collection for CMM.

For anyone wishing to have a longer evening out, the hotel are offering their normal Open Buffet at 70TL. Reservations can be made at the hotel reception or via Carol Tel: 0533 864 4115

On Saturday November 12th the production moves to The Dee European hotel in Famagusta. Doors open at 6.15pm in preparation for the start of the show at 7pm. Following the show, an open buffet is on offer for theater goers. Tickets are priced at 20TL for entry only and 60TL for entrance and a meal. Tickets are available directly from the hotel reception. There will also be a retiring collection for CMM.

Local choirs have been practicing for weeks to have 'perfect pitch' as they accompany the soloists. Many people from both sides of the border have been working together to get these performances organized. There has been wonderful cooperation.
