Cape wines are sponsoring a wine tasting and exciting visual presentation of the February 2011 British Rally Championship in which a Turkish Cypriot team punched a hole through the sporting embargoes against the TRNC for the first time since 1974. “Serkan Cosar makes history for the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus this weekend, when he becomes the first Turkish Cypriot to compete in an international motor sport event overseas; he is driving a Group N Subaru Imprezza hired from seven time Sunseeker winner Marcus Dodd’s Poole-based HPM Motorsport.”
Brian Hardie and Altan Houssein, Team Leader, will be making a presentation of the "Rallyé Sunseeker" event that succesfully punched a hole in the international embargoes against North Cyprus's participation in a sporting event.
The fast moving opening of the British Rally Championship will be presented through a eries of visual material followed by a 20 minute talk.
The presentation is being sponsored by Cape Wines of Çatalköy and the venue is Stevie's Restaurant and Bar in Küçük Erenköy, Tatlısu. Wine tasting starts at 7:30PM on Tuesday, 26 March. Please call Steve on 0533 849 4744.
