Has anyone any recommendations, the best place to purchase gravel for the garden and any idea of price please? Alsancak area.

What size area would that cover?

That's good to know ... thanks! I prefer natural gravel over crushed rock which seems to be predominantly used here.

Does anyone know what area 1 ton of gravel would cover enough to stop the weeds poking through?

You will still get weeds no matter how deep the gravel, if you lay a weed cover first then add gravel to improve the look, the weeds that grow in the gravel are much easier to deal with than the deep rooted weeds in soil.
