We have 6 very tall palm trees which require pruning. We had a guy who climbed them using ropes and a stick, unfortunately he has returned to his own country.

They are a bit tall for ladders now, if anyone knows someone preferably East side please call me. 0533 876 2204. Thank you.

Thanks for recommending that guy. He called last evening about 7.50 pm, we agreed a price he started work there and then, he did the last three trees in complete darkness, to watch him work was just amazing, never have I paid out so much money for 90 minutes work but he did a great job.

Glad you are pleased, he is not cheap but you get what you pay for in this world now. I only want to know where he buys his stanley knife blades because when I use them I get about 4 minutes out of one then have to change it - lol. We even enjoyed clearing all the rubbish away because he taught us how to shift the big palm leaves really easily and this time I never got one jab or cut off them. He is a nice guy as well.

I watched some guys in a park in Antalya and its fascinating isn't it. When they had finished the trunks were as smooth as a babies bum. Amazing craftsmen.

No he was not cheap, but when I turned down his first price, he couldn't resist as he was there, what amazed me was he was with his wife and two small children and began there and then, we have moved about 300 leaves this afternoon but the trees look great.

We are desperate for someone to come and cut the seed pods off a very tall palm tree. Sadly ERCAN doesn't do this. Does anyone know anybody with really long ladders that can do this ?

Sorry meant Erdal. He only climbs and strips trees he can't reach the seed pods or leaves on our tree

rosieA, I think what you mean is that Erdal climbs and strips trees, that is his business!. Part of the stripping involves removal of leaves and seed pods but he will not take on a job that only requires the removal of leaves and seed pods?
