helo i brought a outdoor small 16 inch bonsai tree.it has been 2 weeks and i noticed some leaves are becoming yellow and crusty and when i touch the leaves they fall off please help it is the first time i am looking after a bonsai i think my bonsai is dying........

If it is outside and getting very dry then you have a problem, it will need watering once or twice every day if there is no rain and it is in a sunny spot, try keeping it in a shady part of the garden.

Is it still in it's pot? - the one that it came in?

If it's a deciduous tree then it may just be shedding its leaves for autumn. That's normal. If it is not you may be over watering it.

my experience they like the soil quite dry, are you keeping it to wet.

İt has been in the shade for one week but the leaves are crispy and dry and yellow,should i keep the tree indoors?i dont think i over water it because i see that the soil is always dry so i water ut again,it is still in the pot that i got it in.

hi my plant is a ındoor bonsaı it is still dry and not growing anymore.ı gave it new soil but no change

Do you know what the plant is? Is it a ficus, these are the most common plants sold as bonsai in garden centres.

If you could post a picture then it would be easier to help.

Yashan,your opening statement says you bought an outdoor tree,now you have changed that to an indoor tree,you need to be careful if you are placing an indoor tree outdoors!
