2 ton water tank leak

I have a 2 ton tank that is dripping. It is in series with 3 others. Please, how do I plug the leak?

Is it plastic or metal, is it leaking from a joint or a seam?

It's metal, but it is difficult to see where the drip is originating from as the tank bottom is about 9 inches above floor level.
