HSBC cash machines

Please be aware that the withdrawal sterling option has been removed from HSBC machines as from this morning ( as I found out!!), they only now dispense TL. Presume this falls in line with the announcement that Albank now officially has taken over and been granted licence.

Update - just got Sterling from HSBC in Girne. Now whether I was using the wrong card this morning( it was 0700!!) or there was a technical blip in their system I don't know but let's hope they will continue to dispense Sterling!!!

Good to hear they are still dispensing sterling for the time being. But at what cost after they officially open as ALBANK on Monday next ???

All the ATM's at the HSBC bank this morning had an 'out of order) sign on them!

Can anybody give an up-date regarding the dispensing of sterling from any ATM!!

Well, TEB ATMs are certainly still dispensing Sterling, if that's any use to you.
