You should know the definition of a Financial Advisor which is a person who invests your money until it is all gone!
Flippancy aside, some member may crop up who has had good experiences, you never know.

Do bear in mind that in the UK there are a number of safeguards against financial shenanigans - long winded , frustrating and time consuming as they may be they do exist. Here they do not And even if there were, it would be extremely difficult if not impossible to enforce them.
there are those (not necessarily Cypriots) who will take advantage of that fact and of vulnerable and/or credulous people. A lot of British here have been forced to return in financial straits to the UK because of lost money through bad investments, and/or are living difficult and restricted live as a result of losing their savings for old age.
