Garanti Bank ATM Euro's or TL only

An hour ago went to the ATM at London garage opposite Deniz Kizi and the sterling option was gone, only Euro's and TL.
Where now for sterling at an ATM?

Quite often when an ATM runs out of a particular currency it no longer displays that currency as an option for withdrawal. Perhaps that's what has happened rather than it being permanently unavailable.

I agree with come_on_aylin, as I used that machine yesterday (Tuesday) and withdrew Sterling.
However, on occasion, it has only let me have a reduced amount (presumably all it had left ) or not offered me the option of Sterling at all.

As a point of interest Garanti are still only showing Euro or TL at their ATM's.

Tuesday went to Garanti at Elexus Hotel as we live Esentepe, they were showing TL, DOLLAR & EUR. You've guessed I wanted STERLING so went to the Garanti by Leather World in Catalkoy and managed to get £££££ there.

Got Sterling at Geranti near Tempo Catalkoy and near Lemar Karakum.

So where else apart from these Garanti ATM's can you draw Sterling FOC
Seems to me Garanti are stepping back from issuing Sterling after the withdrawal of HSBC in the north and will continue to do so at all points due to HSBC ceasing.

I don't think Garanti ATM at the Elexus ever has Sterling, we had high hopes when it was first installed but I guess that their guests haven't much use for sterling at the hotel or casino.

Why not get euros, if you are going to change them into TL what's the difference?

Probably because to draw foreign currency from a uk bank costs about 2.75%?

Why don't we petition the UK govt to join the eurozone then this problem will be solved!
