Information if you are travelling to or from Heathrow to Larnaca B.A. They have stopped serving hot food/ meals on these flights their excuse being Cyprus Airways did their catering. As they have to carry the snack boxes out from Heathrow for the return flight they can't do hot food from Heathrow even, (unless you travel business).The snack box consists of crackers crisps and a bit of cheese. Time for Turkish Airlines or Atlas jet me thinks

Yes and it doesn't matter what time you fly it is always the same!!! Half a chicken wrap, a small coleslaw roll, piece of cheese and crackers and a chocolate mousse thing. As you say, business class do get hot food! We also had the same film (when it worked) going and coming. Also we found flying from Larnaca at 1800 there was hardly any food outlets open!

We are flying out with BA end March and knew about the lack of hot meals on there flights to Larnaca......so its breakfast at Carluccios T5 before the flight, that should set us up ok, then maybe pick up something in the terminal to see us thro till we get to our place.

A hot meal for economy passengers on BA662 and BA663 (ex LHR) has been reintroduced. I am told the same applies on BA664 and BA665, also ex LHR.

Food has been at that low quality for some time on the Gatwick route, which finishes shortly, yes, the route is being cancelled. Hubby has flown LCA/LGW/LCA several times over the past few months to use up his Avios. His comments are poor service,(only one drink allowed recently on a flight operated for BA by Titian Airways) poor food and poor time keeping! I am a Turkish Airlines fan. The change of planes in Istanbul is no problem.
