Advice please.

We are flying Ataturk to Ercan on different flights, so not in transit so to speak, do we have to go through passport control and check back in again as we need to get luggage from flight from london to Ataturk and then put it on flight onto Ercan.

Any advice welcome. Thanks.

Are you flying with different airlines? If you booked the flights as one booking the luggage should go through to the next flight if not then you collect your luggage go to check in and through passport control if you have to leave the airport I think you will need a visa.

Thank you Woodspeckie, we have decided for ease we are just going to bring hand luggage, we won't need many clothes, just shorts and tops as it will be hot, that way we will not need to check out and in again.
