Does anyone know what the allowance for hold luggage (Economy) looked on web site with no joy

For UK - Ercan it's 23 Kgs + 8 Kgs Hand luggage

Please check It is now 20 kg We flewback from Manchester in september and along with the majority of passengers had to pay excess baggage on everything over 20 kg. Turkish airlines confirmed that this is now the allowance We travel regurlarly and this is the first time we have ever paid any excess charges

20kg for economy travel unless you have a classic miles & smiles card then you get 23kg. If have a classic plus miles & smiles card you get 30kg. Well worth signing up for the card, doesn't cost anything.

With respect Sue , They allow 23 Kgs for all passengers regardless of a smile and smiles card ,

Don't you just hate it when some one says "with respect". Especially when they are wrong!!!!!!!!

It depends on a combination of where you are flying to, type of aircraft and booking class. We usually got 20kg when flying ECN to MAN.

We fly regularly with Turkish airlines, hubby flew over with them last night, and have always had 23 kilo plus 8-10 kilo hand luggage and they are very lenient with excess, have been approximately 12 kilo over at Christmas and only paid £40 excess. Don't even bother weighing cases now as we know it's so cheap for the excess with them

Been with Turkish Airlines for the past 10 years Manchester Ercan 23 kg 8 kg hand luggage. We have had 24kg and 9 or 10 kg never been charged.

We have flown numerous times BHX & LHR, always been 23kg economy & 30kg business class.

Just booked TA to Manchester. Allowance is 20kg for economy tickets.

Husband flew Manchester to Ercan on Wednesday and he definitely had 23kg allowance, but even if you are over it's literally about £5 a kg excess if you do get charged.

If you fly U.K. To Ercan economy it's 23kg + 8kg hand luggage. Flying Ercan to U.K. it's 20 + 8. I've never understood why it's different but for me it always has been.

When I fly to Berlin Economy I get 30 KG hold luggage & 10KG hand, I will never understand it.

I fly with Turkish Airlines and they used to give me 23kg but for the last 2 years it has been reduced to 20kg....don't know why. It should say it on your ticket, especially if you did it online. I went over to B'hm in October and this is my ticket which clearly shows 20kg.

I have always had 23kg both ways for the last 3 years.

Have flights booked for November & January, both once again 23kg.

We have Miles and Smiles.

Travelled 12 years with Turkish Airlines and turned up with as much as 25 plus kilos never had a problem to and from UK to Ercan, Barcelona etc Travelled to Manchester in July on 23 k plus. Arrived Manchester early Sept with 23 k. Charged excess. Got the miles and smiles The very nice man was charging everybody over 20 k because that is the limit. Flying again soon to different UK airport the e ticket now says 20 k. So make up your own mind.
