With all the messages relating to different TV Systems, we would like to quickly remind board members that we have been supplying Internet for 11 years, proper High Definition Satellite TV Systems for 6 years and Android TV Boxes for nearly 3 years. We would like to thank our 1000+ existing customers during that time.

We don't advertise or push our services on this or any other board and apart from a small advertisement in the classified section of the Cyprus Today, we do not advertise yet, we have managed to flourish for so long - how come ? Simple, word of mouth.

We don't get it right all the time, but we are still here servicing our customers. Over the last decade, naturally, we have had fall-outs with certain customers and I expect that some of them may wish to voice their opinions on this thread (you can't please everyone, clash of personalities, when we make a cock-up for one reason or another) but I hope that you will not judge us on the minority.

Many more start ups will come and go and as usual, the service that they offer will be OK at the beginning until more and more customers take it up and then it will fail (as usual)

Our High Definition TV Systems are not perfect, they are affected by adverse weather, but as we all live on a sunny island, thankfully, outages should be few and far between.

They are not for everyone because they are not cheap (proper services aren't cheap http://www.satellitecyprus.net/osn_cyprus/ http://www.satellitecyprus.net/bein_sports/ ) but then, if you are paying £300+ per year for a service that only works half the time, doesn't that work out to be £600 per year - so, maybe our services are cheap ?

Shortly, we will be introducing three new Android boxes on our web site http://www.satellitecyprus.net - (prices will start at £59 for a configure your own box) they will each come with XBMC pre-installed but customers can choose to buy our pre-configured box (with the existing system that has worked consistently for the last three years). The top of the range box (quad core, 2GB, 8GB OEM will come in at about £135)

Don't forget, that all systems that use the internet (including our Android boxes) will buffer when the internet is not up to speed. This excludes our satellite TV Systems which do not use the internet at all.

If anyone is wondering whether we are a registered business - yes we are AND all the products that we sell are imported through the proper channels with an import licence, electrical certificates, duty, excise and KDV paid.

Thank you (I will not be able to answer messages today because I am out doing installations, but I will be more than happy to review this post tonight and answer any questions that anyone asks but most questions are answered on our web site.
