multimax
Download speed very slow, again.
Phoned up and met with that dreadful singing menus.
Who ever thought that was a good idea????
I was told months ago it would be changed.
Multimax please, alter this.
The phone line menus should be a clear spoken one with no dreadful music that play's over the verbal instruction.
I accept that the internet will at times be poor and it may not even be the fault of multimax.
But why push an already frustrated customer to the point of hitting my head against the wall?

Re: multimax
The call waiting message is ear shattering.
It should be played in their office and see how long they want to hear it for.

The wife keeps complaining I never listen to a word she says ............. or something like that.

Re: multimax
I agree, and the messages are not very clear either. It is a shame the telephone response let Multimax down.

Re: multimax
For info
There were problems with TTnet link out to Turkey starting from around 5pm today that was affecting all MM customers. We are working with TTnet to get them resolved as quickly as possible. It would seem as of now the issue is still not fully resolved.

Also there are restrictions on downloading between the hours 12noon-midnight that will possibly slow your connection down as we found out recently!

Re: multimax
Just to update MM customers (for those who do not know I work for MM)
From approx. 4.30pm yesterday (Thursday 4th September) we were experiencing issues with out main link out from the TRNC to TTnet in Turkey (through which all MM customer traffic to the internet passes). This continued intermittently through the night. As of approx. 9am this morning (Friday 5th) things have been back to normal. MM would like to apologise to customer for this disruption to our service.

Thank you for letting us know, Erol. It really does help when we know a reason for a glitch in the system, and must also help Multimax in saving people call to find out what is wrong.
Please, pretty please, could you also work your magic on the telephone system , as it is very frustrating for people who may already be stressedat losing contact with someone important.

Re: multimax
I am aware the current phone system is not good enough, not even close. I have in fact been trying to get this addressed for several months now and so far have not succeeded in this effort. I will continue to do what I can to push for this to be addressed as soon as possible. For now I can only apologise. Sorry.
For general info - it is increasingly looking like the problems yesterday were the result of an 'attack' - DDOS (distributed denial of service). We have had a couple of blips tonight as well that are similar but not as severe or long lasting (so far). From around 16:30 till now everything has been running as normal but there is a chance of continued disruption I am afraid. I would also note that NTV is also under attack, as per their notice on their website here http://ntv.mx/?c=2&a=0&p=3 The attack on NTV is separate from the (possible) ones affecting MM earlier today and yesterday - as the NTV servers that are being attacked are not even in Cyprus.
