I am coming back tonTRNC next week
I intend to buy a smart tv with an open browser
Will I be able to get filmon.net straight into my TV via my multi max internet connection?
Thanks
Alan

Re: smart TV
Smart TV's have apps (specific programs for specific services) and some have web browsers.
I am not aware of any smart TV's that have a specific filmon app. So then your only option is the smart TV's web browser - and not all smart TVs have such.
If your smart TV does have a web browser, then filmon access via the web browsers at filmon.com may or may not work depending on the specific abilities of the web browser on that specific TV model. I know on some of the earlier Samsung smart TV's for example (year model 'D' = 2011 model) I could access the filmon.com website using the smart TV's web browser but it would not play any video. On a 2013 model Samsung (year letter 'F') filmon.com does currently work via this smart TV's web browser.
However all this may change at any point in the future without any notification. Filmon could change the way they send video via the website such that it will no longer work with the built in browser on the 2013 Samsung smart TV. Samsung could 'update' the we browser on the smart TV such that filmon.com no longer works. Similarly Samsung may have update the web browser on the 2011 model TV that did not used to work such that now it does.
So basically there is no simple yes or no answer to your questions. Nor is there any guarantee that what is know to work now will continue to do so into the future and conmversely that what was know to not work in the past will not work now.
Sorry.

Re: smart TV
Thanks erol
I guessing need to buy from a shop that has wifi and test it out before I buy
When we eventually move over I will invest in a TV service but whilst we flit back and forth it's not worth signing up to anything
