Hi everyone,

We are pleased to announce that we now have the Lecla smart TV players in stock.

Basically the smart player is used to connect to your TV (via a HDMI lead) through wireless internet to stream channels like ITV1, BBC1 and BBC2, Channel 4 and Channel 5 and many more, without having to connect your laptop to your TV.

Please note that you need to have 4Mbit internet connection and a VPN.

The player comes equipped with Android software so you can download apps, browse the internet, watch YouTube videos, view your photos etc.

You can also watch High Definition (BluRay) movies by just plugging in a USB, SD card into your smartbox! Also you can download torrents directly into your smart player.

Contents: European adapter (power cord), (3 socket), remote control, HDMI lead, S – A/V cable, user manual. The smart box comes with 2 USB ports, one SD/MMC card slot, Wi-Fi connection, HDMI port, LAN port.

ever hopeful, but not sure this would be available to me in Dipkarpaz?? I am with Nethouse and the provider is a business called flytom in Yenierenköy

Hi dippersgirl, as andrew4232 said as long as you have a vpn there should be no problem. My advise for you would be to contact Nethouse about the VPN and see what they say.

Download expat shield for free and watch all uk channels for free and if you laptop has HDMI output then just feed it into the TV. I have no problems with it.

Manzara, do you get the Sky channels or just ITV, BBC, etc.?

Hi dippersgirl, if you need setting up we charge extra. It is very easy to set up. You just plug it in, set up your wifi password and sign up with an e-mail address and password and you're good to go.

For anyone interested, I bought from Tech Mar, Set the Box up no Problem. Did have to buy a new router (not so easy to set up but did it eventually) result terrific. Watching Wimbledon with English commentator, Tour de france. Etc. Good result, good value.

I have a "upto" 4 meg but when I go thro@ a VPN this drops to just under 2 meg, so to use this system do I need to look at something after going thro' a VPN gives me a net 4 meg ? I have always been told as long as you have around 1.2meg you are ok to receive programs from the UK.

Hi all, there is no proposed internet service provider. As long as you have a VPN it should work fine. We did a speed test on BBC iPlayer website and we got 2Mbit average speed which works the system just fine. But we are paying for a 4Mbit connection. You are welcome to come and have a look at the system in our shop.

After reading all your notes on TV systems and internet. I am still at a loss.
We live near Laura Beach and were informed that we are near the transmitter !!!! so we should get a good reception. As yet I am still considering all my options any suggestions on what system appears to work correctly/consistently....

Sorry, I haven't looked at this again,the reason that I asked if you set it up is, I'm not at all sure if it would work here and I would not know if it is a technical problem when it does not work, or a matter of lack of speed

Hi dippersgirl, you can do a speed test at the following link: http://www.speedtest.net/
If your download speed is more than 3.5 Mbps then it will work fine. Do a test and then get back to us

Hi, the price of 42" LED Hitachi is 1599 TL, including the base, one year warranty and delivery.

Has anybody got this box from Techmar and would they recommend it?
