Generally good but Multimax have also been up and down this week. This morning I was unable to maintain a Skype connection so not sure if there is a general problem.

Nethouse in the Iskele area have been very good of late. Having said that I am going to move to Broadmax next month as they are far cheaper and have a decent reputation in this area. It's a free market, use it!

The sane is true for Multimax as well. Since Thursday around 4pm we have had a series of what appear to be DDOS (distributed denial of service attacks) on our link out to Turkey via TTNet. It would appear that NTV have also suffered DDOS attacks in this same period, though the attacks on them were on servers not in North Cyprus or Turkey.

Multimax is the only company which offers upto 50Mbits of speeds in Cyprus. Although highest advertised speeds are rarely achieved in real life, we do offer best performance guarantee and 'no penalty, no questions asked' refund of 100% unused portion of your advance payment, thus eliminating the guesswork whether Multimax is the best solution for you or not.

That may be true Kemal, but you are not a "National" company and only operate locally. Not much use to many of us

This is the first problem that I have had with Extend in long time, yes very frustrating but must admit have been with them 6 years and tried others meantime and can honestly say I find them the most reliable, when I called Extend yesterday they explained that it was an all over problem and they were doing everything possible to reconnect services asap, we all get frustrated, but we live in Cyprus, and have limited availability, but before we came here we were well aware of this, and at least the sun is shining.

On another thread it was reported that there was a problem with the connection from Turkey in the last few days ,which I think accounts for everyone's problems.
It seems to be sorted now,as far as I can tell, so it's back to normal.
Which I think means 4mbs from extend, and 25mbs from multimax.

I have had continual internet connection problems since last Thursday and it is still not sorted as I have had outages this morning. I have been told that it is a telecommunications problem that needs to be resolved in Turkey.
