Sorry this has already been asked before i am sure. If we bring a sky box and card and we have the big dish - will our subscription package work here ? Also will "sky to go" work here via internet connection and laptop to tv connection ? Thank you.

To get Sky you will have to change the Transponder frequency and you will not get the HD channels, for Sky Go you will need a VPN

I was going to do the same, but iceman told me lots of the channels have gone now, so you won't get as many as you used to. There is a better company now called arriva TV. You get BBC 1,2,3' itv, film on and lots more. You pay 130 euros one off payment. I haven't bothered yet, but come winter time I will be. Been told it's very good

I had a SKY HD plus box and 4.2m dish but I could no longer get the channels I wanted so the box has now gone back to the UK. However I still watch Sky via Sky Go with my laptop connected to my TV. You need to do this via a VPN and if you use Multimax as your internet provider you will get this for free. They also give you some 15 or so popular channels free and you can also watch iPlayer, ITV player etc.

With a 1.8 dish you can get about 55 channels through your Sky Box including Sports channels if you subscribe to them including the new Sky Sports channel 5 champions league football, you will also be able to record most of these channels.
You will not get HD channels.However if you get a VPN set up on your router you will be able to use SKY On Demand,with the On Demand service you will get HD channels and be able to download to your Sky box to watch whenever you want.you will also be able to access Box Sets and Films,again so long as you subscribe to the films section.

Judyvin, is Sky Go a subscription channel, or do you just use it just to download stuff like you do on BBC Iplayer?

The only way to download from Sky Go is to pay a small monthly subscription,I think it might be about four or five pounds a month.To be honest the content is not that good though.

Hi, can you just clarify the Multimax option for me. If I have my internet through Multimax for the subscription of say 950Tl a year I would get the internet, VPN and 15 popular channels including BBC and ITV player? Does this also include channels like MTV or any Turkish channels?

To get this (apart from the wifi box) will I need any additional equipment?

We currently have extend and its driving me crazy, works fine for my partner who is at home during the day but the evening I have now given up trying to use the internet at all, even for facebook and sending emails.

The current yearly price of our 'up to' 20mbs package (the one most suitable if you intend to watch streaming TV during peak hours) is 999TL per anum, not 950TL.

We do provide a number of 'free extras' as part of the standard internet connection. These include a UK based VPN and access to the following channels provided by NTV, when accessed via a web browsers on a laptop or other suitable device.

BBC1,BBC2,BBC4,ITV1,ITV2,UTV3,ITV4, Channel4, Channel5, Yesterday, More 4,E4, 5Star, 5 USA, Dave, CNN, Euronews, BBC News and Al Jazeera English.

Thanks Erol, I think I will be popping in to see you a couple of weeks before our current contract expires (early Feb) as we have had no end of problems with our current provider, they have had to visit a least a dozen occasions and have finally changed all their equipment (after dropping part of it onto our neighbours balcony).

up to 15mbs is 749TL
up to 20mbs is 999TL
