It really depends on what equipment you're trying to access these sites with.
From a PC/Laptop try, with good internet speeds.
No VPN or Downloads required!

Josie,Do you have a UK Sky subscription actually in the UK rather than through a third party. If so you can get most Sky channels through Sky On demand depending on your subscription. For example if you subscribe to the Movie channel you can download all available Sky films. All the main channels are available on demand just download and watch when you want all in HD.No worrying about streaming programmes over the Internet.
All the information is available on Google.

Thank you lottidotti and Navak for your help
Its not so much films or sport we are interested in, yes we do have uk subs to sky but don't understand how that would transfer to there..
Our real interest is history, discovery and that type of viewing plus itv bbc.

Hi Josie,
I completely understand what you are referring to.
A friend of mine does have subscription to a "3rd Party" for sky go or the virgin equivalent and is able to access all of the channels via a laptop etc. I knw the sub isn't with sky but works perfectly.
Pls feel free to send me a PM if this is of interest and I can talk to him.
