Totally agree with The Saints. I've had a 42" 3D for 3 years now and not the slightest hint of a problem. A good picture and sound but then the guts of them is largely Samsung.

I have one, and I can confirm that they perform well.
I consider them to be excellent value for money.
I believe that Techmar are the sole agents and have full service facilities for this brand.

Their shop is sort of opposite the Karakum Lemar I believe
They have got a website but it's about as unfriendly as it's possible to get if you ask me...
By the way if you Google them it's Techmar not Techma.

Yes it is opposite Lemar
If you go in there you can get a leaflet that lists all their goods along with prices which is great

Groucho,
Unfriendly is an understatement - I hope they didn't pay to get someone to design the website!!

Vestel were brilliant, they delivered on the day they said they would, set it all up for us including the DVD player and computer connected and showed us how to work it. Didn't leave until we were happy.

I thought the Techmar shop in Karakum closed a while ago?
They have a larger shop near to the big hospital in Lefcosa.

They are a bit erratic when it comes to opening times.
Particularly on Saturdays - he opens late, and closes early
The last time that I was in there, I did comment that his 'Demonstration facilities' left a lot to be desired, as well!
The product is fine, though.

Dan,
I recently purchased a Samsung TV from Marks World in Karakum and am extremely pleased with it and their after sales is also very good. I had a few problems with the Apps to start with and they came straight out to check. It transpired that it was a general issue with the software updates and this has now been resolved and I can now watch NTV, Filmon & Youtube etc. directly from the TV! The price was good too at only around £100 more than John Lewis for the same model. Judy
