we have had our sky disk for over 10 years and the wife's never liked it but it was needed, BUT not now, so we wanted it removed, we seemed to have problems getting this done, BUT got hold of the man Ali ( speaks perfect English) contacted him at 6pm around next morning and ALL removed and he cleans up after him, was very helpful

We have moth balled ours, all disconnected, LNB covered to protect it, but I certainly wouldn't get rid of it.

If the UK licence goes, there could be drastic changes to tv across Europe.

I too have a rather unsightly 4.2m dish and I was told by Acip to wait until the end of June because we may get Sky back!

Ozankoys, I would not get rid, the BBC' charter to tax is changing, I really believe Sky will return.

Thanks for your advice but we would not subscribe to Sky anyway as we do not watch sport. Take your point though we may be able to sell it rather than scrap it.
