The forum has sections for different topics. As long as this is the case then it is the thankless task of moderators here to move posts to the appropriate section of the forum.

Hi, when you say 'The internet seems fine' - do you mean that it is 'fine' on the device which you are using to view Filmon? - and if so what are the speedtest readings on said device?

I take it that both the laptop and the android box are connecting via WiFi?

If I can make another guess, perhaps the laptop is normally situated nearer to the router's position than the android box is?

I know that 'Erolz' used to 'bang on' about this, but there really is no substitute for a wired connection between the router and any device that you are trying to use to watch TV.

There are so many factors that can influence the performance of a device using WiFi, the material of the building, its location relative to the router, other equipment that might be using the same frequency range (and absolutely not forgetting your neighbours! - if the problem gets worse when the neighbours switch their gear on to watch TV, that's a dead giveaway!) - and even the location of furniture

First of all though, you need to test the speed of the connection to your android box, first in the morning, when it will probably be working OK, and later on when you are having trouble trying to watch TV...

You will be able to access Google Play Store on the android box, so search for, and install 'ookla speedtest'. Play with it a bit so that you have learnt how to navigate the various options, and then do speedtests, making sure that you are testing direct to your own ISP's server (Multimax or whoever) using the 'change server' option (top right) on the 'settings' screen to select the correct server - as mentioned, it is best to do this first of all when everything is working fine so that you have a 'baseline' to compare against, and then you can tell when something different is happening...

If you find that you have significant differences (slower readings) on the android box, compared to the results that you see on the laptop (assuming that the laptop is either hard-wired to the router or is in close proximity to it) then you need to find out what is influencing the difference in connection speed - either that , or simply connect the android device with either a proper cable, or a device which mimics a direct connection such as a 'Powerline Adaptor'.

However, if you can at least report back with some of your findings, even if you don't carry out all of the suggestions, then at least we will know whether we are going down the right road - if we're not, then we need to re-assess the situation.

Let us know how you get on!

Don't forget to get the ookla speedtest app loaded, and do some tests while everything is OK, so that you've got something to compare with!
