Problems using Turkcell abroad

Am in Malaysia on holiday & although I bought roaming packages & have used my phone in Asia before I cannot make any calls. Can receive calls & send receive texts though which seems odd. Cannot get through to Turkcell on husband's phone does anybody have any ideas please as I have some important calls to make.

Hi ozankoys,
Assume you've set everything correctly.
If still no joy.
Buy a local sim card to make your important calls.
Pop your Turkcell sim back in when you're finished.
Log burner still doing well.

Well thank you for your answer it is very frustrating when I bought 90 mins roaming to ring people over Christmas - it is our son's birthday Christmas Day my friend has spent several hours in Turkcell offices this morning but no joy. Glad you are happy with your woodburner.
