I have a Turkcell phone & keep getting text messages from mostly YENIBAKIS. Can anybody advise how to stop them please? It does not give me the option to save them as a contact so I could block them.

In the UK you can stop unsolicited texts by replying "STOP" to the sender... here it might be worth sending "DUR" to the sender... no idea if they are geared-up for this unsubscribe process but it can't do much harm...
Or you could contact Turkcell and complain of nuisance texts...

I sent a message to 4747 saying IPTAL BILGI
That means (CANCELLATION INFO)
Got immediate text back
Degerli Musterimiz BILIGI Paketi servis aboneligginiz iptal edilmistir
That means (Dear Clients , our service has been canceled your BILIG Package)

Sorry Mint do not understand your message! You cannot send anything back to Yenibakiz the only option available is to delete the text which is most unsatisfactory.

Don't reply to the yeni bakis texts just start a new text to the number 4747 saying IPTAL BILGI
You should then get the confirmation text back and the yeni bakis texts will stop (might take a day to kick in )

Thanks for that info Mint1955, I tried it but they didn't allow it as I don't have a contract with them, just pay as you go - shame!
