L'Artisan Patisserie!

Yesterday we tried the new patisserie/chocolate/ice cream cafe on the Bellapais Road opposite the entrance to Pia Bella carpark. Or for those of you with pets on the corner of the road where Firdez was located before moving behind Starling.
The decor is French inspired, very sophisticated & the cakes are delicious unfortunately we were too full to try the chocolates!
Most definitely worth a visit.

We pop in their whenever we go into Girne. Chocolates are absolutely scrumptious and I understand the chocolatieire son was a supplier to Harrods. Even if we don't want a cake, whenever we go there, we're presented with a delicious homemade chocolaty biscuit thingy!. Perhaps not the best place place to be situated but I really hope the family make a go of it.

Fabulous place. I go there too. Coffee price same as Shooters, however, pastries and chocolates beat them all.
A treat for all the family

I am waiting to try it. It belongs to the family who own Balci Plaza in the Karpaz

We went to Balci Pkaza last week which is how we knew they were related. For those who like steak our friends said it was amongst the best they had ever eaten, my fish was good too.

Finally went there a couple of days ago!
I agree it is a lovely place, very well decorated.
I was a bit disappointed about the very small range of products they propose, not much choice - but maybe it was a day where they sold a lot.
Nobody talked about the price which was surprisingly expensive...
We got 1 little nougat bite, 3 truffes, 2 miniature coffee-flavoured chocolate cups and a few little chocolate biscuits....for 43TL !
This is the price in really good parisian chocolatiers and we are in North Cyprus, come on.

If I had to recommend one thing from what we tried: definitely the miniature coffee-flavoured chocolate cups.

Good products, but not for everybody then :'(

Hand made chocolates are very expensive any where. The coffee cups are quite large and very rich filled with ganache not flavouring. I couldnt eat more than one.

I agree handmade chocolates are never cheap, and I was not expecting it to be cheap of course... but not that much expensive though. Since they don't write their prices in their boutique, I think it is worth mentioning it.
True, the coffee cup chocolates are fulfilling and yummy
