This Indian restaurant has been open for about three months. I was there early yesterday evening with 5 friends and had an excellent meal. Abdul, the proprietor, made us very welcome, chatted to us in his excellent English, and served the meal throughout. Everyone was pleased with their food, which arrived quickly and was plentiful. I was surprised it was not busier, even when we left just after 8 pm only one other table of 4 people had arrived. At least 2 of our party go there regularly and have always been pleased with their meal. I would certainly recommend it to all lovers of Indian cuisine.
They are starting Sunday lunch this week, with a variety of Indian dishes and roasts, and also have a takeaway menu.

Will second that meldy.Were there with friends Tuesday evening,really good food & good portions.That was our fourth time,always been good food & service.Have known Abdul for quite a while from previous restaurant he was working.Always very pleasant.

Could you tell me where, in Alsancak, this new restaurant is? I've lived in the village for over 10 years, don't often eat out, and have no idea where to find it. Thanks.

On the right 50yds down on Mare monte Road . Great meal as usual althjough we always need a 'doggy bag' as the portions are BIG. Recommend the mixed starter. They have a special night this Friday only your 1st drink is free. Entertainment from 8pm.

Went last night. Excellent food and service.
