We are pleased to announce that the Red Lion is now fully open.

We will be serving a light lunch menu from 12.00 noon until 5.00pm, and the full restaurant menu from then until last orders at 9.30pm.

The main menu has a great sushi and sashimi selection as well as Thai, Chinese and Indian main courses.

We had a lovely meal there last night.

Without reservation, I would recommend that you give this new venture a try, if you are looking for quality cuisine.

The Tom Yum & Prawns soup was the right up there with the best that I've ever had, the Szechuan Prawns main dish was superb, and the Oh my God and Californian Sushi dishes were excellent.

The staff and chef were very helpful and attentive, and we will definitely be returning soon.

Went to Red Lion (Mandarin) restaurant last evening. Four of us ordered mixed starters & different main courses. All food was cooked beautifully & spiced as asked for. Rice & noodles were cooked to perfection. Lovely food. Thank you David & staff. See you soon.

We have now been a few times, working our way through the menu, absolutely great. Had take away as well and that was equally as good, which is a rarity with a take away. Great food at really good prices, definitely the best value Chinese food on the island. Don't forget they also do sushi and curries.

Was there tonight and thoroughly enjoyed it. We got different starters and meals and they were cooked to perfection, in fact I can still taste it now and I've been home for an hour.
