I noticed a sign for an Indian Resaurant in Esentepe situated where The Red Fort used to be.

Is it open yet ? If so does anyone have any feedback yet on what it's like ?

Can confirm this post. However, never used the facility and the new Balti House has good reviews from other posters and is very close to Tasterfast.

TasteFast only opened their doors last night, we will also be interested in any feed back their first visitors have.

The Balti House was previously called Fine Dining.

Went the other day to Taste Fast . After 10 mins and one beer decided not the place o would want to eat in...or drink in come to that.

Went to the new Balti House Restaurant in Esentepe last night. Very impressed. Got a very warm welcome and food was not only excellent but reasonably priced. They have a wide selection of meat and vegetarian dishes (indian), plus European and kids' menus. Naan and rice are included in the price. You can select how hot you would like any of your main Indian meals. (Price example: Chicken Korma, Roghan Josh, etc - 34TL)

This was previously Fine Dining but under totally new ownership with the affable Mo Khan heading up front of house.

Thoroughly recommended.

We have still not ventured there yet but will give it a try soon.

Was told that they are going to have live music soon which will not go down well with the residents on that estate !

SussexBoy thanks for that, we tried it when it was Fine Dining and weren't impressed to be honest.

Now we will give it a whirl and report accordingly.

The Balti House also do a takeaway and home delivery service.

Went today for Sunday lunch, decor very much improved since Fine Dining days. Food piping hot and very good, prices reasonable and the sweets we had were home made and good which is not always the case in many restaurants. Very good experience and will be back soon for a evening meal.
