Had a fantastic breakfast at the new cafe/bar this morning, only been open two days; sausage must have come from the Ozankoy butchers as it tasted so good.
Located in Ozankoy opposite the old Ederner supermarket (and no I'm not related to or have any connection with the establishment).

When you say wonderful breakfast, do you mean the full fat English Breakfast, or the more healthy Turkish breakfast. Only asking because I much prefer the latter.

Sophie- The breakfast was a traditional English breakfast, not greasy at all.

Suasages from the Pork Shop in Alsancak have my vote as the best I've tasted out here.
Ozankoy butchers burgers with caramalised onions however are fantastic.

I hope they do well but how many people go out for breakfast or lunch regularly?
They are not doing evening meals which is the only time we eat out

Had breakfast (English) there today - best I have had out here in 11 years, top marks for preparation, presentation and quality of products!! Don't miss the title please - it is "Tim's Cafe and Bar" so it is not just a cafe!!! Being right next door to "Master Roaster" (
http://www.masterroastercy.com) it will also attract all coffee drinkers and those who wish to purchase quality coffee beans or ground coffee as well. Good luck to both enterprises - I will be a customer of both for sure.

Hope it is supported and is successful but it took over the premises from Selvi, a bistro type restaurant, that lasted about 3 months. If we go out to lunch we like to have a view and be away from the main road. There do seem to be a lot of cafe places in that Karakum area as Deniz 1 says. That apart. Good luck to them.

You are absolutely correct "luckyner", the sausages do come from Ozankoy butchers. Glad you enjoyed your breakfast, and hope you will be back for many more in the future @timscafe&bar

Hi "niceone" thanks for your comments, we are confident that our breakfasts will want people to come out regularly. As for evening meals, we will be expanding into those in the next few weeks and months, and will update on here when they are available for you to come and try.

Thank you "waddo" for the highly positive feedback, so glad you liked our offerings. Also, yes we are happy to report that we have a reciprocal arrangement with the Master Roaster which means our customers can enjoy their coffee and theirs our food. Make sure you say hi to Tim next time you are in, he loves to speak to a fellow squaddie!

Thank you for the good wishes Panchocat - we do have tables and terraced area out the back if you prefer to be away from the main road. We think we are offering something a little different to the run of the mill cafe, with both our decor and our offerings being a mix of English food and Cypriot hospitality and the charm of our wonderful team, so hope to see you come visit us in the near future.

We would like to thank all the customers who have been in and enjoyed the hospitality and food of Tim's Cafe & Bar in our first week. We also need to let you know that in order to do some of the finer adjustments and little touches that weren't possible before opening we will be closed for one day only on Thursday 12th April 2018.
We will be open again at 7am for breakfast on Friday 13th April 2018 and look forward to seeing many of you then.

We had 'Breakfast Sandwiches' at lunchtime! Egg & bacon and bacon & tomato - delicious. The bread is lovely, soft and fresh, just like British bread; I understand that they source it from Famagusta. I just wish they could order more so that we could buy it.

Not wishing to sound too repetitive but had a small Breakfast and a huge Americano which was piping hot unlike most places . The breakfast was superb and a pleasant surprise was the best Fried Bread that I have had in this country in the passed 10 plus years. In fact it’s not easily to find.. o realise it may not exactly be the best healthy option but WTF a bit of what you like does you good as thy say. Excellent work keep it up o am sure that as long as you maintain the standards you have set you will do just fine.

Thank you for the lovely feedback Bert, our food standards are based on what Tim himself will eat and he is very precise about his fried bread so will be pleased with your comment. Like you say a little of what you like does you good. Hope to see you again soon.

I understand that Tim's now does Sunday lunch and going by his current record, it should be good. Has anyone tried it, what was it like, and what was the cost?
