Is that 3/10 value for money or good price?

We have tried them - nobody will be as good as the original Crispy Squid but for now I reserve judgment. However, I will still be making the drive across to Alsancak and Lockmans when I can't go South to Dhekalia. Proper fish and chips are hard to find but not impossible - unlike pork pies - lol.

They weren't ready when I went. No pies, sausages, saveloys. I just had cod and chips takeaway, which came with a teaspoonful of mushy peas. Not a good experience.
Seems like they need some business help, made no sense to me as to why they opened if they weren't ready.

Many meals are dear now, guess it just depends on whether or not you want to pay the price.
No use comparing to UK makes no odds to me since I've not been for 3 years.

TRNC/UK - Had fish & chips in August in TRNC = 1010tl for two fish & chips, poor quality and quantity. Had fish & chips in UK in August = £22.50 for two fish & chips, more than we could eat, fresh Whitby cod, perfect chips + scraps, hot and wonderful! Do your own price comparison but for me, having had my first UK fish & chips in 17 years, there was a clear winner!

Actually you asked for marks out of 10 for one establishment and later asked for the price! So what exactly do you want? For example - I am looking for quality fish & chips at a reasonable price in the TRNC? I may consider other venues in the RoC also. I would appreciate honest opinions along with prices and area of location. All venues considered, many thanks for replies!
OR you could ask Google and of course post your own findings to assist other searchers! Type in “Fish and chips in North Cyprus” and see what you get. My favorite in the North is Lokmans and well worth a try! For the RoC you would be hard pressed to beat Lambros at Dhekelia!
Good luck

Yep was curious about the new place, not too many reviews so may support our local bar and check out the old mill at some point.

There is no substitute for getting out there and trying it for yourself!
There's a whole World of experiences out there, waiting to be sampled.
You can't do everything online and expect others to do all the legwork for you - and THEN start moaning that they didn't do exactly what you specified...
Also people have differing tastes, and what suits them may not suit you.
Bon appetit!

I always like to get reviews, it's probably a generational thing

Well pre-internet you'd only get reviews in the local rag, so I'm confused as to which generation you're talking about...
