Went there last night after putting it off for so long as yet another meze and kebap place. Sorry to have waited so long. Lovely place and atmostphere, lovely friendly people and the food! the best beautiful home made , thick crinkle cut chips I have ever had. All the mezes freshly made, and you could choose as lıttle or as many as you wanted, the most tenderest lamb chops. Lastly we were brought delicious home made yogurt cake with vanilla ice cream and portions of fresh fruit on the side. We were full to bursting when we left. Would recommend Tasmahzen highly to anyone. It is situated right in the middle of Alsancak village. There is a car park opposite.l

yes have to second that opinion. Been a couple of times, food excellent, and nice atmosphere. Haven't tried the yoghurt cake, but sounds delicious.

Went there last night. Everything just as it should be. Haven't been anywhere better for a very long time, and not expensive. Will be back, and back
Well done Erdinc and his staff.

We've been about four/ five times, never been dissapointed. Thursday, we decided to go, but as
the evening wore on, I felt quite poorly, nothing to do with the food, I might add. Straight away I
was brought out a cup of minted cay. That sorted me out. Moral of my story, if you have a funny tummy,
drink minted cay, it soon sorts you out.

head towards Alsancak. When you get to the golden lady,(just past the merit sign) turn left. Follow the road past Atakara garage and supermarket.
Continue until you see the coffee bars, shops etc..
Tasmahazen is on your right, just past B&I fast food. It has a stone arch outside. They do have a small car park, but there is a large one past Cenap and before the Dolphin restuarant, on your left hand side.
I would suggest booking, their number is 0392 821 8427.
They are usually closed on Wednesdays, but if you have a large enough party, as was last week, they will open.

they only open during the evenings, as they are right next door to B&I, (fast food), who do a roaring trade during the
day. (very sensible, IMO).
As for being child friendly, Mmmm, depends how old the children are, as the restuarant is situated by the main Alsancak
village road, and there is no gate.
Hope this helps.
