We went last night and spent a couple of enjoyable hours over our meal and a bottle of chilled wine and yes, the sunset is beautiful.

The menu is short (not a bad thing in my opinion) mainly Cypriot dishes, meat or fish, the main meals come with chips, salad, cacik, hummus, ezme and bread. We also tried borek and samosas from the starter menu, freshly cooked, piping hot and tasty.

If you wanted a snack at lunchtime there are a selection of sandwiches on the menu, and also burgers.

We would definitely put it on our list of places to eat.

Hi, Yes I agree,a lovely setting.Do I take it that Barbaros is no longer involved,as you could never find him to get any service, unless you called at his house,I would like to give it another chance at lunch time.Does he do the normal menu at lunch time as well,or is it only sandwiches?

Hi Owl Lady

I do not know who Barbaros is/was, I presumed it was now run by new people, perhaps other forum readers will know, Jenny who is the chef came out to ask us how was our meal and wanted to know if we had any problems,
I am presuming the whole menu would be available, I wrote that sandwiches were available should people only want a snack.

Barbaros and his father Cemil used to run it and his father sadly died a few years ago,Barbaros lost all interest and a lot of customers through always being "missing" when anyone arrived to be served.
