Yesterday we went to the opening night of this restaurant in Catalkoy. It is where Dulce Vita used to be, just past the Cratos. They provided free buffet food and local drinks.

The food was excellent local cuisine and the ambiance was perfect with a good mix of locals and ex-pats.

I got a chance to look at their normal menu which was extensive with lots of local dishes at very reasonable prices. For those that prefer a steak an example of price was a T-bone was TL 26.00 with draft Efes TL5.

I will definitely be paying them a visit very soon with friends.

They are open Tuesday to Sunday 11.am till late - CLOSED MONDAY.

Wish I had heard about the opening I would have been there.

We only found out on the day. But it is the usual Cypriot thing, it has been open for a little while , hence being told of the tasty T- bone, but the official opening was Sunday.

Hopefully the " normal " meals will be just as nice and the atmosphere as good.

Will definitely give it a try.

Went there last night, I had the mixed kebab and the wife had lamb chops, served with approx 8 small cold meze and what I would call a flat type wrap cut up as bread and a large salad, very nice place, nice people & reasonable price 80TL with two large beers & two imported vodkas. We were offered a brandy on the house but had left a relative at home so didn't stop but will definitely go back.

The Mezes were free during the opening week for feedback, which went well.

Saturday 27th July We have the Spanish Musicians playing from 8pm. Gommalar.

We are still waiting for draft beers. We have Carlsberg.

Saturday 27th July from 8.30 Spanish Live Music plus mix of English and Turkish and Sangria ! Paella.
