I've no personal experience, Kate (How are you by the way?). The line usually put out is that it is almost impossible for a foreigner to get permission to purchase on authentic Turkish Title deeds. I've no idea why not, but I believe that is the situation. It won't stop an estate agent trying to sell it, I guess.

I put Turkish Title deed property into my name October 2015 no problem but maybe the rules have changed since then. You would have to check the current position the Land Registry is always very helpful.
By the way you have put this post under 'Motors' so maybe you would get more replies under the correct section.

Yes they do seem to keep changing the rules all the time one minute you can get permission then you cannot it is necessary to establish the current situation for that particular area.
However they do come through very quickly now so for little cost you can apply & hope the property is still available if you are accepted.
