Due to a total revamp on bathrooms and kitchen and unable to confirm when the work was going to be completed etc Bitter Lemons is available for short term accommodation for this season at very reasonable prices.
An ideal opportunity to stay in Bellapais, visit family who live here and stay where Lawrence Durrell lived 1953 -56
minimum stay 3 nights

We visited this wonderful house recently and would recommend it thoroughly. Lots to do and see in, and around, Bellapais. If you have read 'Bitter Lemons' then there will be an historic connection to the house which retains its original features from the time that Laurence Durrell lived there.

Thank you Mark, not that we had a lot of choice, you just came in! but you are correct in stating there is lots to do in and around Bellapais. The first party after the revamp throughly enjoyed their stay.

Never been backward in coming forward! Sally assures me that she did ask if it was OK to come in, but confesses that she may not have waited for the answer. Good to see you two again after all this time, hope all goes well.
