Does an exectutor of a will where the Kocan and car are in joint names have to do probate.
Yes to do the correct way, recently helped a friend. You have to go to court but do need an advocate to draw up the correct paperwork, speak turkish and a lot of running around to offices and officials.
A difficult process if it's only a vehicle has to be changed especially if under the value of an advocate's fee to do the whole job.
If in joint names the other person can use the vehicle legally but can not sell it.
