Missing Pointer Lapta
Hi,
Our little pointer is missing. She disappeared from our home in Lapta, (not far from walkway) searched high and low and no sign of her at all. She is all white apart from black on her face and ears. (Trying to upload a photo but keeps saying file too big).
Lucy is really friendly and just less than a year old. Our kids miss her so much, as does our other dog. i have an awful feeling she has been taken as she has never just disappeared before and is inseparable to our other dog.

Petronemma, I am going out at this end with my 2 best sniffer dogs, as soon as it is light. Goes without saying will be looking for Lucy too, it's amazing how far they can wander

Re: Missing Pointer Lapta
thank you so much surfmeetseast.
did you see the comment on the poisoned dog in karsiyaka post re dead dogs dumped on a lapta beach? i am trying to find out more. it has knocked me for six thinking there are now dogs that could potentially be ours or others that are missing that cannot be identified

Re: Missing Pointer Lapta
To put your mind at rest the poor poisoned dog was a small beige retriever type dog wearing a red collar. I so hope Lucy turns up safe and well x

Re: Missing Pointer Lapta
Yes I have read them Petronemma and words absolutely fail me.
The Belediyse really cannot be trusted to care for the welfare of dogs
I despair I really do. No luck searching this A.M but never give up.
All I found was yet another dumped pointer at Titanic at Kayalar. Some of us from there have been leaving food etc. It's dark brown with bits of white and the remnants of a large white rope around its neck, and is elusive
With the restriction of Kar's actions now, I have never felt so up against it, the dog welfare situation has been pushed a huge step backwards
I have worked with dogs all of my life in the UK, for RSPCA, Battersea etc, and although there is covert cruelty, even within these institutions, living here is a hideous eye opener
Back out tomorrow

I saw this earlier & didn't dare hope for you but you have obviously spoken to Brighton Dot. I can't imagine how you are feeling right now but I so hope you find your little Lucy in the morning.

Re: Missing Pointer Lapta
been out searching this morning and lunchtime and nothing bless her i hope she is ok its breaking my heart, 3 weeks she has been gone and as time goes by her chances grow less, i only hope she stays safe from the belediyesi. any sightings, please ring 0533 8619974 or if possible take her to a safe place i.e. a vet is possible that i can collect her from. still no sign of any of the other missing dogs, Good, chalky, Ghengis. fingers crossed they're all safe and home very soon
