I would like to thank the Owl Lady for popping into to visit Fric and Frac yesterday. It is very true that when I first started to look after the interests of these two dogs I was advised by so-called experts in the field that they were going to be problem dogs and would never integrate into family life. I was told the kindest thing would be to have them put down. Since when did being scared and homeless become a reason to terminate a life?
I am not by any stretch of the imagination an expert on dogs, let alone ever owned one. However, in a relatively short time by showing patience and some TLC, these dogs have improved ten-fold. They are very easy to take care of, they are inquizative and get along with other animals and people. They are adjusting all the time and I am confident with the same TLC from a forever owner these dogs will reward them many times over.
I do agree with the Owl Lady that at this moment in time that it would be very difficult to separate them because they have lost their owner, mother and home. This has made them dependant on each other.
These dogs need stability in their lives and TLC. Anyone interested in taking them on but are concerned of the costs involved need not worry as I estimate it costs between 50 - 75TL a week. Help is also on hand if required with these costs.
These dogs deserve a second chance so please help make this happen.
