Firstly thanks to everyone who kept the topic at the top of the page before to home Henry (the boxer cross) and then his new owners, neighbours, took Patch another Lamboussa dog, a large brown and white pointer type. Now there is Jack/Jackie to find a home for. She has two names as Ian first thought when she turned up that she was a boy and named her Jack, so we all called her Jack. Her coat was scruffy and long so didn't notice for a while that in fact Jack should have been Jackie.Anyway she is a sweetie, getting on a bit, and slightly deaf, and has a wonderful nature and is very quiet. She would make an ideal companion for someone that wants a quiet, loving dog that doesn't need too much exercise. Jackie is also fine with other dogs, and she is definitely not the pushy sort. It would be great to find her a home where she is loved to bits. If anyone would like to see her, go along to Lamboussa or telephone Ian who is there every day on 05338730301. Here's hoping we can do it again with this little sweetie. Forgot to put pics on then electric went off - sod's law again ! now it says they are too big, so give me time to figure out how to make them smaller.

Can anyone tell me how to make the pictures smaller please, as can't figure it out.Unfortunately I have deleted them from my camera, so only have them on my computer.

Oh dear, don't seem to be getting any response from this. She really is a lovely dog and deserves to find a proper home.

Very funny Kemal, I love animals and want them all to be loved and as I have been told I'm not fit enough to help with catching cats for KAR I do my little bit when I can. All I do is put them on the forum's then hope some kind person will come along and give them a home, and you've got to admit it does seem to be working very well. - In fact, I've been meaning to talk to you about all the ground you have at your house, , perhaps you could set up a rescue center at your house. You have untold patience (MM) you obviously love animals (Ice and Max) you take them for great walks and your photographs are brilliant. That's sorted then ! p.s. and now you have a dog flap - see FB.

Just read what you said again Kemal, yes very amusing. Owl Lady can be btt and I'll have the finding homes for animals on kibkom job.

bttt, Sorry it slipped. Kemal you can be my deputy!! Come on kibkomers, please someone take pity on Jackie and give her a loving home. Henry, Daisy and Ice have all found new homes recently,so we will not give up

Don't forget Patch, who was also at Lamboussa, he's also gone. Patch was a young dog and big, but he and Jackie were best of friends and used to go off on jaunts together. Apparently they were often seen in the evenings on Lapta strip visiting hotels and bars. I'm sure she misses him a lot, and I worry about her if she goes down to "the strip" on her own, being a bit deaf. The other two dogs Osmund (Ozzie) and Gulu don't like other dogs hanging around with them, so I doubt they will take her with them when they go off on "jaunts". So please if anyone has been thinking about getting a dog or another one, give her a thought.

I agree Kemal, there have been so many dogs recently looking for homes on this forum, we seem to have run out of people wanting dogs. We need another influx of people moving here. I will put Jackie on Facebook, for some reason, I hadn't thought of that. Patch from Lamboussa that had been re-homed a couple of weeks ago, turned up on Friday evening with his new collar on, to see his friends, and ready for the market on Saturday and all the extra goodies he gets from the food sellers. Gone back to his new home by Sunday morning though.

Already re-shared jackie's pictures on 2 groups, fingers crossed.

He's not, he just got out somehow, wanted to be early for the best bargains at the market.

No luck in finding Jackie a home, and Patch seems to prefer living at Lamboussa to his new home, as he returned a week ago and stayed this time.

Only a thought, could Patch's new owners do a swop and take Jackie instead?
