Today we lost our Kar street dog to Leshmania (spelling) I just want to say that our vet Niazzi from Happy Vet (catalkoy) was brilliant. He came this morning because I said our street dog doesn't look well and she has a sore paw. (Mrs Brown (tag 855)wouldn't get in the car so I couldn't take her to him), he called and took a blood test and told us the news, I spoke to KAR and they confirmed that it was in her best interest to be put to sleep, the lady I spoke to was very informative about this disease and very sympathetic. She offered to have the compound car come and collect her which was very kind of them, but I said I would rather my vet took care of her, and I am so glad I did. He came and gave her an injection to make her sleep before taking her back to his clinic for the final injection. Niazzi gave her the injection to sleep whilst she was held and cared for by the people that loved her.
RIP Mrs Brown and thank you Niazzi for taking good care of her, and thank you my best friends for staying with me when it mattered.

Actually had a lump in my throat as I was reading this.

I can't imagine how you must be feeling at this time, but Mrs Brown was one very lucky dog to have such a caring person/people who looked out for her and was with her as she made her way to doggie heaven.

RIP Mrs Brown.

Thank you both. Its a horrible disease, and she didn't deserve to suffer in the way she would have, she was a lovely dog, and I am glad she found her way to me, as she surely enhanced my life and that of my other 2 dogs and 15 cats. Lor
