2 abandoned pointers

I have been feeding 2 dumped (middle aged) pointers for about 5 weeks - just behind Dolmaci's farm in Lapta. KAR were great - they collected them, neutered them, established that they were leish free and then tagged and returned them on the 7th of August. I, and one of my neighbours, carried on feeding them and rigged up a sort of kennel on what i believe is a strip of forestry land.

Then suddenly on the night of Saturday 9th August, or early on the Sunday morning both dogs disappeared. The female is a toffee brown all over and the male is black and tan. Both dogs seemed happy and settled where they were and had a regular food and water supply.

Has anyone noticed two KAR tagged street dogs, matching their descriptions, appearing in their area?

Thanks Lor51. It may be a coincidence but a lady who lives no more than 5 minutes away from our villa was also feeding a street dog. This one was a German Shepherd type dog and was on the KAR collection list. It suddenly disappeared about one week before mine. She spoke to two KAR representatives at Lambousa market on Saturday and they are going to try to look into it.
