Please help, all pet lovers. Lost dogs.

My neighbour found the gate to his garden wide open and his two dogs gone. This was 2 days ago. Both are biggish dogs - about 30kgs. One is jet black with a short coat and and big bark. His name is Oddie and despite the bark he is a friendly young dog. His pal is called Belle and she is totally white with a beautiful long coat and a very friendly disposition. Oddie is NOT street wise as he has been a pet since a few weeks old. I think he was a puppy from KAR. Belle was found wandering and was taken in about a year ago. Finding their gate open would be great fun but they haven't come home as yet and this is their second night of being away. Their home is in Catalkoy, up behind the Malpas Hotel. Any sightings, please phone 0533 843 9207. These dogs are pals and should be together.

Sad to say that following the call from Deniz, we have searched the area each day but found no sign of them. At least they seem to still be together. Please keep on looking. Thank you.

Just got back from a slow crawl around the Buffavento Village area - both sides of the ravine but still no sign. Please let me know if you spot these two. Thanks.

Hi everyone - well, at least we have Oddie dog back next door. I found him laying outside when I took my own dogs out the other morning. He was very subdued and limping. I put him back into his own garden and informed the owner. I made sure he had food and water, too, plus a kindly stroke. He hasn't once barked since he got back three days ago. I think he is missing Belle, the white dog who was his best pal. SO, please let me know if anyone sees a lost, rather beautiful white Husky-type dog in the Buffavento area. She has a lovelyl nature and would go off with anyone. She was found wandering in our area about a year ago and my neighbour took her in. None of us would want harm come to her. KAR have no sightings. Thank you.
Please phone Christopher on 0542 875 0304 if you see her. I shall be away for a few days and cannot take calls on my above number.

Hi everyone,
Just thought I'd let you know that the vet is treating Oddie now; he thinks someone hit Oddie on the rear and damaged his leg.
Sadly, Belle remains missing. Sounds like she was at Shayna Beach for three days but has moved on. She is a lovely dog - pure white and very Husky-like; great temperament. Oddie misses her very much. He is on his own all day whilst his 'manager' is at work so it would be great if we could get Belle back again. Do you know of anyone who has recently taken in a dog like Belle? She had a collar but not sure now. Don't think she's chipped but could be wrong as owner abroad at present. Please let Christopher (phone number above post) if you think you know where she is. Thanks.

So sorry that Oddie was injured and is still needing treatment, Also that Belle has still not been found.
Was Oddie micro chipped? If so there is a chance that Belle was as well!

Unfortunately I don't think either dog has been either registered or chipped although, as I am not the owner, I could be wrong. The owner remains abroad but he is aware of events.

For once, a bit of good news!! Belle, the white Husky dog did find herself a forever home and is now settled in a warm and loving environment. She has been chipped and all the doggie do's have been done. She is OK. Oddie has settled down without Belle but he now has a new pal, a runaway chicken called Elsie. Elsie has her own little area in my neighbour's garden and she is fed on grapes/sweetcorn and lettuce to mention but a few things - twice a day. She can get out of her environment quite easily and often ends up in my garden but she has the good sense to return to her own little patch when food is around. Oddie also has more freedom now but he doesn't stray off the rough land outside our villas. All in all, everyone is happy
