Sponsored 500K walk in aid of housing stray dogs in North Cyprus. Yes I am aiming to walk 100K per week come rain or shine until the end of November. I will be keeping record everyday using Runkeeper. If I don't make it by 28th November that means I will have to continue walking on my holidays in the UK. Enough talk time to walk. Winter is not funny for strays on the street so let's to raise some money.

I have just met up with Blue Eyes tonight at the Corner House in Ozankoy and he is doing well with his sponsorship, but does need a lot more help. I have not forgiven him yet, for referring to me on Facebook as a "frail, elderly lady" can handle these two dogs!! Referring to Fric and Frac .(mind you he is right!)Joking aside, these two dogs are gorgeous, and it would be great to be able to find them a forever home, preferably together,as they are so close to each other especially, after losing their Mum, their owner and home. PLEASE,PLEASE try to help.

It's official my 500km walk for stray cats and dogs is over. I would like to thank everyone who sponsored, donated, supported, helped raise awareness and walked with me. The walking was completed at the final Hope 4 Pets North Cyprus fund raiser for this year held at Tolga's, Karsiyaka. Total pledged is almost £1,200 pounds*. The event raised funds, food and toys for a number of animal welfare groups, charities and foster owners.
