This boy had a brown leather collar, no tag. A few months old, very thin, friendly. No distinguishing marks just the brown flecked German pointer colour. We had a car full of our dogs so could not take him, but gave him a loaf of bread and a tin of dog food, and returning tomorrow with more food. I think he has been loved at some point

I saw him there earlier today about 2.30 pm and gave him a tin of dog food. You're right, not timid and very thin.

Oh that's good of you, he is gorgeous but we cannot have him, have to be tough. Is that the one you said was around your road when we brought the bedding to you? He seems very young. Not a hope in hell I suppose, of anyone claiming him

Hi
No, it's a different one, luckily haven't seen this one up as far as us. There were three dumped recently, all hunting dogs, but only see one of them now, black and grey small pointer with collar.
It's so sad and I'll never understand how anyone can just abandon a dog!!

We went past twice today and could not see him. It haunts me though because he was so friendly. We have a youngster who was the pup of a dumped hunting dog and she is absolute magic. Cannot understand it either, selfish ignorant "ooops", wish they would just all shoot each other

I have a neighbour who adopted a black and gray one that was found near Haseki Hurem last week in a very poor state, don't know if it's one of the three but suspect it possibly is. So at least one has landed on its paws thank goodness. They are such bright loving dogs who get treated appallingly.

That's good, they are such lovely dogs. My husband drove into town this morning and found the boy in the bus shelter, out of the rain. Gave him breakfast, we are angst ridden as we are stressed to the limit with our house full, and I know all the shelters are full. Can only just keep feeding him and hope he does not get run over

Fed him again yesterday and this morning. He just sits there waiting for someone to pass and feed him.
Sadly another little brown dog dumped on the Kayalar road was hit by a car and killed today!

Oh god that's horrible. The brown boy we are feeding was up at starling express today lunchtime. Gave him breakfast, my hubby is the sensible one and told me no, you cannot bring him home! Ours just would not have it. We saw 3 or 4 more on the way home to Kayalar, i despair...

Thank you Mozgor and hubby. Boy has settled, had another small dinner, and is worming his way into my heart. For everyone's info, this boy was hit by a truck today outside, and Mozgor saved him and took him to a vet. He is not too badly injured, but badly needs a forever home. He is being fostered with us and I can tell you he is delightful. Photos tomorrow.

Yes Owl Lady, a lovely day. And it was good to meet you as well. You will see we are fostering the pointer pup. I know it's a bit hopeless but please ask around for us. I don't want him to go to the compound, but he is having to live in a separate room from all of our animals and it's not ideal as you can imagine!
Still trying to get him to sit still for photos, but there are some on Pati Paws Facebook site
Merry Christmas !

Sadly this lovely little dog was hit by a truck last Sunday outside Club Simena. He was taken to a vet and thankfully had no broken bones, just damaged ligaments and a few cuts and scrapes. He was put in plaster to speed up the healing process and twice daily painkillers.
Thankfully Surfmeetseast agreed to take him in while he recuperates, he's only 5 months old bless him and already been dumped once.
Once he is better he will need a permanent home to go to, so if anyone would like to take him in and offer him a loving permanent place to live, please let us know.

Thanks for posting the pics, he looks so lovely. If only some one can give him a NEW YEAR present of a forever home of his own.

Thank you Mozgor and Owl lady , the upload bar just does not work on my setup here.. I can confirm that this beautiful dog is socialized, willing, friendly and very loving. He will not be given to a hunter !!
We have 6 dogs and now 7 cats and our house is a renovation project. We are not young and a good home for this boy , well I love him that much, it will have to be perfect.
