Has anyone lost a lovely friendly black and white border cross/pointer type of dog with a black patch over its eye in the Alsancak area with a red collar. This dog seems to understand commands in english so I guess it was with english people.

Haven't seen that one yet, but there's another recently appeared at Old Milos. Pale coloured hunting dog, friendly and gentle, and now looking much better after being fed daily. Would make a lovely pet, but was presumably no good at hunting, since he appeared when the season ended! How can someone just abandon an animal to its fate, particularly in this hostile weather?

I don't understand how they can abandon them either. I really do question how this people tick, hopefully if karma works they will all get their comeuppance, inshallah!

I had been feeding this lovely dog and I gave it a bed in the garage but unfortunately my Turkish neighbour took a dislike to it going near his house and has taken it to the belediye to be destroyed, according to my other neighbour.
I wish now I had frightened it away but what can you do when you see a dog in such lovely condition which obeyed every command I gave it in English.
Maybe the belediye assassin took a shine to it when its big brown eyes looked up the barrel of the gun.
RIP lovely little boy.

Could you go and make polite enquiries at your local Belediyses or even your Mayor as to where this dog is now as they are not legally justified in shooting the unchipped animals which I presume this one was.
KAR printed the legal do's and don'ts before they had to stop rescuing animals from your area.
Make a noise, don't give up on this poor dog - Please.

My neighbour said as far as he knows the dog was dropped outside the belediye office but I don't know and I can't get any info from the belediye it's all hush hush. I have in my head now he was dropped outside which kerbs my anger.
