Update: Great news, Chico has a new home!

I’m looking for a loving home for my 1.5 year old male cat Chico. I found him when he was around 3-4 months old in a residential complex in Alsancak, he was very hungry, got bitten by another cat and was in a bad condition. He had a big, infected wound on his front leg, but after spending 12 days at the veterinary clinic PetCross he recovered and was fine then. I adopted him and he was living happily on my terrace in Lapta. He just lived outside and was well known and loved in the residential complex, always wandering around the communal pool and garden. Around 4 months ago he got hit by a car and his left hind leg was broken. It was a complicated fracture and they operated him 3 times. Also his wound got infected, so several small operations and laser treatments were necessary. Because of him I moved to Lefkosa, to be closer to the Near East Animal Hospital, where he received once/twice a week his treatments. Due to the excellent care of the doctors and their team, Chico is now in a very good condition. Of course he is still limping, but his fracture healed well and also his wound is completely closed now. He is happy, active and it’s absolutely not a problem for him that he is limping. Just the life in the small apartment isn’t very nice for him, since he used to live outside. But the biggest problem is that I have a strong cat allergy. Since 4 months he is living with me in the flat and it’s negatively affecting my health. So I’m looking urgently for a new home for him! Because he is handicapped it would be great to find a home, where he is secure inside, but has also the possibility to go out (Garden, Terrace etc.). He is a beautiful, well behaved, clever and friendly boy. Chico is neutered, healthy, clean and received flea/tick and parasite treatments regularly.
